There are many benefits to having a consistent yoga practice such as improved flexibility, strength, balance and overall mobility. As well as the physical benefits, yoga can help reduce stress and anxiety improving mental clarity helping you feel calmer and more grounded in today's fast-paced world. However it can be difficult to know where to start. Whether you are a complete beginner or returning to movement after an injury I will guide and support you, giving you the confidence and the skills to build a sustainable yoga practice. 

Welcome to yoga with me, Elaine.

My aim is to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone regardless of body type or ability. Students are encouraged to explore pose modifications and the use of props to discover what works for them.

A typical class will include a blend of stretching and strengthening, meditation, breathing techniques and relaxation. Over time you will increase your flexibility, improve your body awareness, balance and coordination learning skills that you can take with you off the mat into your everyday life.

My goal is to help you develop a sustainable practice that works for you.  Blending the wisdom of yoga philosophy with evidence-based information to create yoga classes and courses that will help you grow and evolve. You will be encouraged to explore and find out what works for you and your individual needs.

    Join my group classes in person at Acresfield health club and spa Garstang, Preston. Or join an online class from anywhere in the world. These general classes are designed to suit all abilities and bodies and will form an essential part of your selfcare routine. I also offer private classes in person or online. These classes can be tailored to meet your needs.

  • Specialised Workshops, Courses & Events

    I offer a variety of workshops and courses allowing time to explore a specific area or technique. Popular courses include the Foundations of yoga for beginners, yoga tune up self massage, yoga nidra and breathing exercises. I also offer tailor made workshops and courses for corporate wellness from hen-dos to improved wellness in the workplace.

  • Retreats

    The ultimate gift of self care. Invest in you and join one of my retreats. The perfect opportunity to connect with fellow yogis. You'll have time to dive into your yoga practice, enjoy walks in beautiful surroundings, relax and disconnect from your everyday life and reconnect to your inner self.

27-30th September 2024 - Located on the Eastern Shores of Coniston Water in the Lake District. The venue’s elevated position provides sensational views of the lake and high fells beyond, with the village of Coniston within walking distance. A beautiful place to retreat.
