About Me
Hi, I’m Elaine
Yoga came to me in my forties. I was very active, attending lots of gym classes, walking, cycling and playing netball. I was injured in a cycling accident and that put a stop to that. Pilates was part of my rehabilitation and as I recovered I decided whilst I was in this slower phase of movement to try a yoga class. Until that point I wasn't drawn to yoga . I believed you had to be very flexible and be all zen like! So my first class was like an epiphany.
I really enjoyed the slower pace and the time flew by. It was demanding and I was ready for the relaxation at the end. From then on I regularly attended as many classes as I could knowing it would become a lifelong practice. My passion to share the transformative power of yoga is what inspired me to go to India and complete my first yoga teacher training.
